Skipper of seagoing vessel up to 40 GT ( Tender Operator Course )

Course Overview: The Tender Operator Course at the newly opened Gulf Stream Superyacht Academy is a specialized training program designed to provide aspiring tender operators with the essential skills and knowledge required to safely and efficiently operate tenders and other small vessels. The course offers a blend of theoretical instruction and practical hands-on experience to ensure students are fully prepared for the demands of this critical role within the superyacht industry.

Course Duration: The course spans over 2 weeks, with intensive training sessions held Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Weekend workshops and on-the-water practice sessions are also included to enhance learning.

      Introduction to Tender Operations

      Vessel Handling and Manoeuvring

      Safety and Emergency Procedures

      Engine and Systems Maintenance

      Rules of the Road and Regulations

      Weather and Sea Conditions

      Professional Development

Practical Training: The course includes extensive practical training sessions on tenders at the academy’s marina. Students will gain real-world experience in handling different types of tenders, navigating various sea conditions, and performing essential maintenance tasks.

Certifications: Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive  internationally recognised certificate for ''Skipper of seagoing vessel up to 40 GT''
