Course Overview: The Proficiency for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties Course at the newly opened Gulf Stream Superyacht Academy is a specialized training program designed to equip seafarers with the essential skills and knowledge needed to effectively perform security duties on board a vessel. This course adheres to the standards set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and is compliant with the requirements of the STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) Code.
Course Duration: The course is an intensive two days program, with classes conducted from 9 AM to 5 PM each day. It combines both theoretical instruction and practical exercises to ensure comprehensive understanding and skill development.
